Will you read my book and tell me what you think?
I'd love to read all the manuscripts sent my way and I'm flattered that you thought of me, but due to my writing and publishing commitments at the moment, I'd never get through them all. To avoid disappointing anyone, I can't currently accept manuscripts for this purpose.
However, if you're looking for a publisher and would like to submit your book for consideration, you can send a sample to . Please check that submissions are open before you do so. Alternatively, if you'd like to gift me a book, you can send this to PO Box 348, Shipley, BD18 9ER, UK—whilst I may not be able to give feedback, I do reply to all my mail personally and will happily add it to my TBR.
Will you sign my book/can I have your autograph?
If you'd like to buy a signed copy of any of my books, you can get in touch via e-mail for more information. Due to postage fees, unexpected delays (and a fear they may get lost on the way), please don't send a book you already own as I can't guarantee it will make it safely back to you. I do attend events frequently and would be more than happy to sign your book then.
If you do already own one of my books or are asking on behalf of a fan/child, please send me an e-mail as I may be able to post a signed bookmark (subject to availability).
Will you visit my school or speak at my event?
If your school is in the Yorkshire area, I'd be more than happy to arrange a workshop or career day visit. Your teacher/s will need to reach out via e-mail. You can check out what's on offer at www.curiouscatbooks.co.uk.
For all event queries, please get in touch via e-mail to discuss your request.
Will you support my cause/charity?
Whilst I always do my utmost to support the causes and charities I believe in, I can't lend a hand to everyone all of the time. However, if you think I'd be interested in what you're doing, tag me on social media and if I can, I'll like, share or re-tweet it for you.
Will you respond to my letter or e-mail?
All my correspondence is dealt with by me (and only me), so if you've sent me a letter or an e-mail recently, I'll get back to you as soon as I can. For e-mails, I usually reply within 48 hours and for letters, please allow 1-2 weeks.
How can I contact one of your authors?
Please send your letter/request to my standard PO Box marked FAO and that author's name—I will re-direct it for you. The above FAQs and responses apply to most of my authors, however, it may be worth checking their personal website/s if you're looking for something specific.
